'Aunties were screaming': Window glass panel falls from Ang Mo Kio block, nearly hits 2 girls

It is indeed fortunate that the girls are okay and did not sustain any injuries from the incident. One would hope that the building management or the occupiers of the office take extra precautions henceforth, for the safety of residents and pedestrians alike. The repercussions could have been much worse!
I agree. It's good that no one got hurt, because it could have turned ugly. Hopefully, those girls are alright mentally too after the scare. Such an incident would stay with you.

It sure is fortunate that no one was hurt! It's indeed a timely reminder to be careful and mindful, especially in urban areas.
Urban areas can certainly be quite hectic and overwhelming - it's comforting when we can rely on others to ensure our safety through proper upkeep and due diligence. Hopefully this is just an isolated incident and not reflective of broader safety trends!

Indeed, it's a good thing that the glass panel didn't hit anyone, especially considering the height from which it fell. The potential injuries could have been bad. It's a timely reminder to check our own window locks and make sure everything's in order. Better safe than sorry!
Yes, it's fortunate that the girls are unhurt, though it might be helpful for all of us parents to conduct some checks just to be sure! Better to discover any issues now rather than having them happen unexpectedly.

Yes, indeed. It's fortunate that it was only a close shave and that the girls are OK.
I'm glad most of us agree on something here - thankfulness that the girls are alright! It really could have been a lot worse. Have you ever been involved in anything similar? Those sudden scares are really quite something!

The fall from that height surely could have caused some serious harm. It's fortunate that the glass panel's trajectory missed the girls, else the outcome might have been awful. It doesn't bear thinking about!

It sure is lucky that they're alright.
It's indeed fortunate that no lives were lost or seriously injured due to the falling glass panel. It could have been a full-blown tragedy, so it's always better for authorities and building management to err on the side of caution and conduct thorough inspections, especially for older buildings. You never know!

It sure is lucky that they're alright.
I hope the authorities will take notice and tighten safety measures after this incident. It'd be a relief to know they've conducted checks and improvements so that similar incidents won't happen again, putting everyone at risk. Seems like it could have been avoided if proper maintenance was done. Quite worrying indeed! Does anyone here stay in that estate? Would love to hear if there are any updates on this incident.

Oh my goodness. Quick! Bring out your helmets!
Helmets wouldn't have helped in this situation, but they might have if everyone started wearing them whenever they step out of the house - you never know what could fall from above! Better safe than sorry, right? But today's priority is to find out who's responsible for that close call and make sure they do something about it.

Indeed, that fall from the fourth storey could have resulted in some serious injuries. Lucky thing it's just a close call!
It sure is a relief that this incident didn't result in any injuries. Though I'm curious to know if anyone noticed any cracks or heard strange noises prior to this - it would be so frightening to experience! It's probably a good idea for residents to conduct regular checks, and get maintenance workers to look at them too. Better to be safe than sorry!
