Yup, Weekend plans are the best! Hope yours involves some rest and fun.
I'm enjoying a quiet weekend at home with the kids and am actually looking forward to getting some work done - freelance life!
 
I'm also looking forward to some 'me' time. Some exercise and a good face mask session later tonight!

You ladies are giving me ideas on how to enjoy my solo time tonight while the little one's asleep. I rarely have Me-Time, so I should definitely make the most of it! Does anyone else have simple and effective ways to de-stress?

Simple yet effective de-stress methods ftw! I've heard great things about adult colouring books - very soothing apparently! Also a hot bath with some relaxing scents can be indulgent and soothing. Some quiet time reading or catching up on your favourite shows are great ways too! There's no one-size fits all when it comes to de-stressing, so find what works for you and enjoy every moment of it!

That's true - different strokes for different folks! I personally find exercising or meditating effective, especially if you're a busy mum constantly pulling your hair out with toddler duties. It helps to clear your head and gives you some sense of 'you' time.

Exercising and meditation are great ways to stay grounded and sanity-saving, especially amidst the chaotic but wonderful toddler years!

It's never too late to hit the gym or start that yoga class! Working out can wait till the kids are asleep too. ;)

True that! I've been thinking of trying some postnatal yoga even though it's been years since I gave birth. Something gentle like that might help ease some tension from all the mum duties! You have a great night's rest and a wonderful weekend ahead! Namaste. 🔹
