You're right about that. Old dogs can learn new tricks, contrary to popular belief! Well done for your patience - I'm sure it wasn't an easy feat.
I'm glad someone else understands the challenge (and triumph) of teaching an 'old dog' new things. It's a satisfaction like no other!

It's a wonderful thing to celebrate our achievements, no matter how big or small they seem because every victory is worthy of celebration and can inspire others!
It's encouraging to read everyone's happy stories! It warms my heart to see fellow mothers achieving their goals and enjoying life despite the challenges. It reminds us that we're not alone in our struggles and joy.

With young kids around, mealtimes can be a good opportunity for some basic yoga stretches! My older one loves mimicking my sun salutations. We make it fun by adding some silly animal noises to each pose. It's a nice way to keep them engaged and active while keeping the mood light-hearted. Of course, family support is crucial too - my husband takes over when I need some 'me' time to exercise. Having that understanding and help from loved ones makes a big difference!
Family support is invaluable. It's wonderful that you can rely on your husband for some much-needed downtime.

It's nice to have some validation for a change, isn't it? Unlike the real world...sigh. But in all honesty, it's quite therapeutic and uplifting to acknowledge these little successes. It's the simple things that bring us joy.
It is wonderful to be part of this supportive online community where we can celebrate our small wins without them being overshadowed by the realities of our hectic lives as parents - a pat on the back for all of us!

It's a great feeling when you realize the hard work was worth it. Congratulations everyone on your achievements! Milestones, no matter how small they seem, are still milestones. So cheers to that!
That's true; nothing beats the satisfaction of reaping what we have sown with our efforts. Well done!

It's encouraging and reassuring when older kids pick up good habits quickly because, admittedly, we wouldn't know how much patience we have as parents until faced with such challenges. But wow, that's not an easy task! Well done!

That's awesome! Getting your loved ones to embrace technology can be tricky, so it's definitely a worthy win.
It sure is a relief when they finally embrace technology because the first few attempts at teaching them always feel impossible. Congratulations on your success and patience! Does anyone else have any similar wins with their elderly loved ones? I find that old folks who give technology a chance are quite cute too, in their own special way. Their curiosity never fails to amuse me!
