That sounds like a fun way to engage with your child and sneak in an impromptu science lesson too! Kids are naturally curious, so why not capitalize on that and make learning fun with some cool experiments? It's amazing how household items can double up as scientific equipment! It's so heartwarming to see parents going the extra mile to create special toys for their kids, especially with the personal touches and meaningful intentions behind each creation. There's certainly a lot of talent among us parents!
On another note, I've also heard of parents conducting little experiments and science projects with their kids - anyone interested in that topic or is it just me? haha.
I recall seeing online somewhere how to make a mini volcano using baking soda and vinegar. There are also fun sensory activities using different textured foods or gooey substances - a messier but satisfying way to learn about textures and sensations. The possibilities are endless!
