I also agree that stepping away and creating some physical distance can help with clearer thinking. There's a reason why going on a short walk or changing environments is a recommended strategy when faced with difficult decisions. It adds fresh air and perspective, quite literally!

Now, that's some clever thinking on your part about the toss-and-turn method for minor decisions. It's amazing how our instincts can kick in when we give ourselves some physical and mental space.

For bigger and more complex decisions, I find that setting a deadline helps me commit to a choice. Giving myself a time limit forces some much-needed urgency and focus. Otherwise, I might keep analyzing the situation endlessly which exhausts more than enlightens.

And sometimes, when all else fails and I'm really stuck, I resort to a straightforward coin toss! It's a symbolic gesture, but it helps me mentally prepare for either outcome and see the silver linings in each situation.

Those are my additional two cents on decision-making, but I suspect there may be some other quirky and insightful strategies out there!
