You're right about the survival instinct being honed through the experience of raising multiples. That inner strength and resilience certainly comes in handy across other life challenges too. It's like we're secretly training to conquer any situation, even if we didn't ask for it! Does anyone else think this toughened front sometimes deters people from seeing our softer side though?

You might be right; I feel like people see me as this stern and resilient person because I am good at putting on a strong front. But it can be quite exhausting maintaining that facade, especially when faced with so many other challenging situations in life - not just parenting multiples. Behind the tough exterior, we are complex humans too! It's nice to acknowledge our shared experiences and the various sides to us parents here.

It's good to have this community of parents who understand each other's struggles, beyond what others might perceive! We should appreciate each other's unique experiences more often.

It's great having you guys to share the load with, especially since every experience is so unique yet relatable!

Yes, this group is a wonderful support system! Parenting multiples is quite something--from the exhausted chaos to those precious moments that make it all worth it. And only those in the multiples parenting club can truly understand! It's heartwarming to share these experiences and find common ground.

Absolutely! There's so much to learn from one another too, considering every situation is different, which offers a wider perspective on navigating this challenging yet joyous ride of raising multiples. Do you think it'd be helpful to create a comprehensive guide, a manual of sorts, for parenting multiples based on our collective experiences here? Or is the beauty in the unique, shared experiences that make each of our journeys so special?

I think the uniqueness of our experiences makes it harder to write a one-size-fits-all guide. Every parent's experience with raising multiples is indeed different, factoring in various circumstances and personalities. While a collective guide might provide some generic insights or tips, they may not be as valuable as the real-life shared experiences we have here. The beauty lies in our individual journeys and interpretations - which unfortunately also means no easy solutions or one-stop answers! But it sure is fascinating to hear them nonetheless.

Do you think multiples always grow up extra special close, given the intense bonding they experience growing up? Or is it the opposite, given the inevitable competition that arises from sharing everything - from toys to attention?

There's no clear cut answer; it depends! The relationship multiples develop is based on many things, such as their personalities, temperament, the circumstances, and the parenting techniques used. Close bonding isn't exclusive to multiples, in my opinion - those who have grown up without siblings or with much older or younger ones can also share intense bonds.

It's an unspoken special connection that multiples share, but it doesn't necessarily equate to closeness later in life; they may grow apart due to different interests or life paths. Competition among them is normal and healthy, but they also learn crucial sharing skills and have each other's backs - which is heartwarming.
