We've just finished a fun morning at the community garden where we did some planting and are now heading home for some lunch and a well-deserved rest. It's been a lovely, activity-filled morning. The zoo trip was extra special today! We were fortunate to have up-close interaction with the zookeeper and got to learn so much about the animals. My little one was especially fascinated by the otters. She was in awe of their playful nature and kept asking many questions about them. It's heartwarming to witness her grow more conscious of the world around her and develop an interest in nature and animals. The afternoon picnic in the park sounded like a great follow-up, but sadly the rain had other plans! We dashed for cover and headed home instead, but it was still a fun-filled day overall.
