The intention might be good, but it's quite extreme.You're right; at that rate, a 10-minute oversight would result in a $5 charge, which is quite steep for a mistake. It's reasonable only if the intention is to deter people from holding onto the charging lots past their charging session, but even then, there are probably better solutions. Some drivers may end up panic-rushing to retrieve their cars and cause accidental trouble.
