That's heartwarming to know that this group is a supportive space for mums to seek advice and share experiences. As a mum myself, I agree that firsthand accounts from other mums are incredibly valuable!

I'm sure many mums would love to hear about books or resources they can tap on for their parenting journey, especially those with a focus on early childhood education. I'd be happy to recommend some if anyone needs it!

Parenting books and resources focused on early childhood education are an excellent way to gain some extra insight and reassurance - especially when so many of us doubt our decisions from time to time!

I'd also love to hear about some go-to recommendations for those tricky situations or simply for some inspiring ideas to keep the parenting journey exciting. Sharing personal experiences and learning from other mums' victories and struggles is such a comfort, and it's heartening to know this space exists for that very reason!

What books or resources have been game-changers in your experience? I'm sure many would love some new insights and recommendations!

I found 'The Whole Brain Child' and 'No Drama Discipline' really helpful for those tricky toddler years - they focus on why children behave the way they do and give great strategies for connecting and communicating with your little ones, which I felt gave me more confidence in my responses to tricky situations.

Also, 'Elevating Child Care' by Janet Lansbury has a very holistic approach to early childhood that I loved - it focuses on seeing the value in every aspect of caring for your child and really changed my perspective on parenting for the better!

For those looking for some inspiring ideas, I love Maria Montessori's work - her books are a wonderful guide to understanding your child's developmental stages and creating an enriching environment for them to thrive in. There's so much wisdom in her approach, which feels so relevant even now, despite being written so long ago!

It's also helpful to follow some toddler-focused accounts on Instagram or Facebook. Some of these parents and experts share wonderful, quick tips that are easy to implement and make a big difference!

Some great recommendations there - thank you so much for sharing!

I've found that books which explain a child's mindset and motivations are incredibly helpful in understanding my little one, and therefore helping me respond in a way that suits her needs and encourages positive discipline. I'll have to check out 'The Whole Brain Child' and 'No Drama Discipline' - they sound fantastic.

It's also such a good idea to seek out online communities for inspiration and quick tips! I've found Instagram especially useful for this, and will have a look at some of the accounts you recommended.

Anything that gives some guidance and confidence in navigating the early years is so helpful, so I'll certainly give these a go. Thanks again for the suggestions!

It's such great advice to seek out resources that help us understand our little ones' perspectives; it certainly makes parenting so much easier when we can see things from their lens.

The books you mentioned are amazing and definitely give an insightful look at a child's world - a great way to gain some tips on how best to approach discipline with a positive, empathetic twist.

Instagram is a goldmine for quick ideas and inspiration - so many accounts run by parents, educators, and experts that provide fantastic bite-sized info you can implement right away. It's a great modern resource that makes parenting feels less isolating too!

Hope you enjoy delving into these recommendations and that they give you some wonderful insights and strategies.
