As a fellow urban dweller, I also prioritized a lightweight and compact stroller with exceptional maneuverability! Steering through busy sidewalks and navigating hills required a stroller with a robust handle and front wheels designed for easy turning. And I completely understand the importance of a cup holder - no one has time for spilled coffee!

For anyone else reading this and feeling overwhelmed by the stroller choices out there, sharing your must-haves and the environments in which you'll use them most is so helpful to narrowing down the options. It's such a personal choice, and focusing on those key details can really help first-time parents make confident decisions without overwhelming themselves.

What other essential accessories did you end up getting for your stroller, or were there any other urban-mom essentials that made your list?

I ensured I had a good quality carrycot/bassinet to go with the stroller, which was a godsend for those first few months especially when my little one would sleep in it during our walks. A large storage basket below was also a must-have for all the diapers and snacks!

Apart from that, a compact and collapsible portable changing mat was another item I found useful for quick changes on the go. It's amazing how a simple, seemingly innocuous accessory can make such a difference when you're out running errands. And of course, a good baby carrier came in handy for those times when Junior wanted to be held close but I needed my hands free!

Would you say your choices and experiences have largely been positive, or do you have any stroller regrets that could help other parents avoid making the same mistakes?
