I've been meaning to experiment with spice combinations, but my recent attempts have been somewhat tamer. I've been adding lime zest to my seafood dishes lately, which adds a nice, zesty twist. Not too adventurous, but a refreshing change!

Also, I've been curious about using lavender salt for some time now, but I'm still unsure how to best incorporate it without making the dish taste soapy. Has anyone here cooked with culinary lavender before? Any recommendations or successful dishes you'd care to share?

I've heard of using dried culinary lavender in cookies and cupcakes, which adds a lovely fragrant note to baked goods. Some also use it in marinades for poultry, and I've once tried a lovely lavender-infused honey glaze for roast chicken that was surprisingly good. The floral notes added a delicate fragrance and worked surprisingly well with the meat.

For those who enjoy baking, lavender sugar is also a beautiful way to add fragrance to desserts and goes well with butter cookies, shortbread, or even in iced tea. It's quite a versatile ingredient! As for soapy tastes, I find that using food-grade lavender buds helps prevent this issue.

That's a nice, simple hack you've got there with the lime zest and seafood. It's amazing how a little citrus twist can bright up the flavors. Have a fantastic day too, and here's to many more delicious meals ahead! Cheers!
