Shortcuts to Success

I'm with you on the satisfaction of physically writing things down - there's a real sense of progress and achievement as you scribble through completed tasks.

And you're right about the benefits of having an unstructured space for creative thinking. Using large sheets allows ideas to develop freely without any constraints, which can be so freeing and often leads to some of the best brainstorming sessions.

I also love the scope you get from using a filofax for detailed planning - being able to see everything mapped out visually is such a helpful way of keeping on top of things! Digital methods just don't replicate the clarity that comes from good old pen and paper.

It's nice to hear someone else appreciates the classics!

I completely agree - there's a certain satisfaction in being able to visually see your plans laid out on paper. I've always been a believer that pen and paper trumps digital methods, especially when it comes to brainstorming and planning. There's something freeing about not having a device between you and your thoughts, plus the added bonus of not getting distracted by notifications!

The physical act of writing brings a certain sense of clarity - it slow things down and you really have to think about what you're jotting down. Plus, being able to flick back through pages in a filofax gives such a great overview of your plans and progress which, like you say, is incredibly satisfying!
