I finally got my lazy, good-for-nothing, 18-year-old son to consistently wake up early for school every day this month. It's a small victory but one that's worth celebrating because it took me threatening to cut him off financially and restrict his internet access to get him to shape up. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and people can finally stop complaining about how lazy the younger generation is!

My greatest achievement lately has been my new business venture in party planning. It's a solo venture which started as a side hustle two years ago but now gaining traction and becoming quite popular among the community here in Jurong. I specialize in organizing personalized and unique parties for kids, from decorating, crafting invited postcards, planning themed goodie bags, to managing the entire event on the day itself.

Although it's been challenging balancing my family commitments and growing this business solely on my own, the feeling of satisfaction whenever I receive positive feedback from clients makes it all worthwhile. The sense of pride and accomplishment is real, especially knowing that I can create something so joyful for others and contribute something meaningful to society.
