That's so true, their confidence can grow so much in a short space of time too - it's a lovely thing to witness! And it's amazing what you can teach them too - songs, games and rhymes are such fun and they love joining in don't they?
Yes, the rate at which they learn and absorb information is astounding and very fascinating to witness. They seem to learn the most when they're having fun, which is wonderful! Songs and rhymes are definitely a toddler's favorite. The repeatability and predictability of songs help with their language development, not forgetting the confidence boost from moving and grooving, especially in front of an audience (which we parents are all too happy to provide!).

So true! My kiddo loves when I sing and dance with her, which is great because I can see the enjoyment on his face and he's so proud to show off. Plus, songs are sticky - once the lyrics are stuck in my toddler's head, it's amazing how quickly new concepts are learnt through repetition. What other toddler tactics does everyone use to make learning fun?

Songs are a great way to capture their attention and repeat lessons too! I also sometimes act goofy, like exaggeratingly pretending to be scared of spiders or making silly faces while we're brushing teeth. My tot thinks it's hilarious and it makes her excited for these mundane everyday activities.

Songs are a great idea! I'll have to remember that and break into song more often. And yes, acting goofy definitely has its place too - anything that makes those every day activities fun!
