Share Toddler Management Strategies

Giving my little boy "jobs" around the house has been a life saver recently. He's really into helping me fold laundry and putting things away into their spot - it keeps him busy, he feels important and it gives us some nice quiet time while his sister has her nap. I agree that finding ways to give them responsibility is such an easy but effective strategy!

That's a great idea! My toddler also loves helping me with small chores and feels so proud of herself when she does. Giving them little responsibilities really helps them feel like an integral part of the family, and keeps them entertained too. I've been setting up her toys as an obstacle course while I cook dinner and it buys me at least 20 mins of prep time!

What a smart way to engage her and give her that sense of importance and belonging! And oh, setting up toys as an obstacle course sounds like fun. I agree that giving them responsibilities teaches toddlers essential life skills too. You're helping her develop into a capable and confident individual. High five, mama! Also, love the creativity!
