My most memorable school moment was when I placed first in the nationwide Dance Competition during my secondary school days. It was a major win for my school since the previous consecutive victories had gone to our rival school. That win was a huge confidence booster and encouraged me to pursue performing arts, setting the direction for my future studies and career choices.

I was more of a sporty jock so the behind-the-scenes drama and intricacies were never my forte, but they sure added color and intrigue to our otherwise mundane lives. It's quite funny how oblivious we are to some things while we're in the thick of it all, but everything becomes clearer when you've stepped out of the bubble. They may have appeared oblivious but often had their own ways of handling the drama, perhaps with a good chuckle later in the staff room.
