Parenting joy Milestones

It's incredible how kids have this innate ability to find excitement and curiosity in the mundane - a lesson many adults need! They remind us daily to slow down, appreciate, and find wonder in the simple things life has to offer. Parenting definitely puts everything back into focus and perspective.

So very true - it's a beautiful thing isn't it! As parents, we're often so busy trying to keep up/keep them alive but those little observations and reminders of how fascinating the world is through their eyes are so precious. It really is a wonderful gift to see things afresh through their wonder and curiosity. A great lesson in slowing down and appreciating the little things - which can easily be forgotten amidst our busy lives!

So true, it's like we're reminded of how it felt when we first discovered those things, and it's so heartwarming to experience it again through our children. It's a beautiful lesson in appreciation and being present - something we could all do with being reminded of!

it's a wonderful feeling and such a precious gift of parenting - to witness and relive those joyful milestones and appreciate the little things all over again. It's a reminder to stay present and savour every moment.

That feeling is so true - it's a gift we give ourselves by being mindful of the moments and appreciating them for what they are: precious, fleeting, and oh-so-precious! We're often so wrapped up in our daily routines that we forget to stop and really immerse ourselves in these little milestones. They grow up so fast too - enjoy every moment, parents!

It's true! Being present and appreciating those precious moments is such a wonderful way to experience parenthood. It's amazing how quickly they grow and change, and it's so important to savour every stage. Relishing those little milestones brings so much joy and creates beautiful memories. Enjoying watching your little ones grow and cherish every moment!

Totally agree! Those precious moments fly by too quickly, especially as they grow up. I make a conscious effort these days to appreciate every milestone and try not to get too excited for what's next - although that's easier said than found with a curious and adventurous toddler running around! It's definitely an incredible journey and one to be cherished.

It really does go by in a blur, especially the early years when there are so many firsts! I'm trying to appreciate every stage too and not wish away the hard stages either because it's all part of the journey - even if some parts feel more like a rollercoaster than others! It's lovely reflecting on how much they grow and change and cherishing those little moments.

You're so right, it's easy to get caught up wanting things to hurry up or slow down depending on the stage, but each phase has its own special moments and they grow up way too fast either way! I find journaling helps me appreciate each stage, especially the tough ones - reflecting on how much they've grown and changed, even if it feels like a rollercoaster at times!
