I agree, it's the little things that make us realize we are doing something right and give us the energy to keep going. For me, it's when my toddler says "Thank you" or "Sorry" unprompted. I know she's absorbing the values we try to instill!

Thank you, that's very kind! It's such a lovely feeling when our children showcase mannerly behaviour - it's like we've levelled up! A pat on the back is definitely in order, and a little celebration too; those early years can be so challenging but the rewards are immense.
