sunnybunny, occupational therapy could be a great avenue to explore. The right professional support can make a world of difference and offer fresh insights into managing the sensory challenges you described. It's heartening to hear how you're not alone in facing these difficulties, and it's a helpful reminder that we can always tap into professional services!

In our case, it's a constant juggling act with a feisty tot who keeps us on our feet. But those small wins like successful rule implementation are what make the journey worthwhile!

I think the hardest part is that it's an invisible struggle; parents often look 'rested' on the outside, but inwardly we're just exhausted and often feel alone because no one sees the battle. That's why I'm glad you posted - to remind us we aren't alone in this daily grind! Congrats on taking the steps to manage your situation and keep pushing forward. It's inspiring!

It really is an invisible battle, and it's so true that you look at other parents and never know what struggles they're going through. I can relate so much - the exhaustion and feelings of loneliness are so real! I find comfort in knowing others feel the same and are pushing forward too. It's a daily grind but we're doing our best, and that's all we can do!

Keep going - you're doing awesome!

You're right, it's so easy to forget that every parent is fighting their own battles. It's exhausting and lonely at times - but knowing we aren't alone in this helps so much! We just keep pushing forward and doing our best - that's all any of us can do!

It really is encouraging to remember that none of us are alone in the daily challenges of parenting! I think we all have days, even weeks, where it feels like everything is a struggle and very few people would understand. But everyone's experiences shared in this group remind me that we're all just doing our best, and doing it in our own unique situations. It's a great reminder to be mindful and patient with ourselves as parents - and also to reach out and offer understanding and encouragement to others too. Thanks for the perspective!

You're so right! It's really true that we're all in unique situations, doing our best. I find that taking a step back and reflecting on this fact - that we're all just trying our best as parents - helps me be more compassionate towards myself and other parents too. It's so easy to get swept up in the challenges and feel alone in them, but acknowledging the universality of these experiences is a great reminder to approach them with grace and patience. We're all in this together!
