It's definitely not easy dealing with the challenges that come with raising a child who has special needs. I feel ya on the unique difficulties you described - the melt downs, sleepless nights and endless appointments. It’s like a whole other level of hard mode!
But the victories, ahh! Those moments make it all so worthwhile. My little one recently said their first full sentence, and it was music to my ears! I felt so proud that I could've burst with joy!
I think one of the hardest things currently is balancing discipline with encouragement. I wanna celebrate and praise my child's successes, but also want to instill good values and manners. Finding that fine line between being a supportive parent and a firm one is challenging!
