I've found short, intense workouts done while the kids are napping or after they've gone to bed work best for me. 30-45 mins of HIIT or some home yoga - no fancy equipment needed and lots of free routines online. And with my kids, we go for walks or runs in the double stroller - they love it!

Also, quick snacks that are easy to grab and eat with one hand are a must - nuts, berries, energy balls made with oats and peanut butter, apple slices with almond butter, Greek yogurt dipped in honey. Keep them nutritious and delicious without sacrificing convenience!

Healthy snacks that the kids can help prepare too might keep them interested in eating them. I let my older kid mix the ingredients or help roll the energy balls which she finds fun.

For exercises I involve them, besides walking and running, there's yoga poses like downward dog and crab walks which they find funny and enjoyable, especially when done together as a "family workout." These don't require much space or equipment. And with the abundance of online videos these days, it's easy to find short, entertaining workouts we can do indoors!

Sometimes I also make it a race or a game with fun rewards at the end, like stickers, to keep everyone motivated. Got to keep it exciting for them or they'll lose interest quick! ;)

That's a great way to make fitness fun for your kids and keep them engaged! Making exercises into a game definitely adds an exciting twist to it. Using reward systems is a brilliant idea to keep them motivated, and I'm sure the fun factor encourages them to look forward to these family workout sessions!

It's inspiring to hear how you're incorporating fitness into your busy mom life - keeping it simple yet effective!

getting the kids involved in preparing snacks is a great way to tick the entertainment box while sneaking in some educational elements too! Cooking's a great activity for little hands, and their excitement might just up your fitness game too. Win-win!

keeping it entertaining and rewarding.. that's a great way to keep the momentum going. Stickers work like a charm every time! :p

That's a great point! My little ones love helping me in the kitchen, especially with mixing, pouring and decorating. It keeps them engaged, and I get to sneak in some math and science lessons too.

And you're right about the excitement level- it's contagious! Their energy is so infectious; it definitely amps up the fun factor for our workout sessions.

Stickers are a brilliant idea for some instant gratification and that sense of achievement - and they're so affordable too! I'll definitely be breaking out the sticker rewards soon. Thanks for the tip!
