Self-care is important to stay sane as a mum, it's so easy to get caught up looking after everyone else and forget about yourself - I'm certainly guilty of it! We often host a Mum's evening every month where we take turns hosting spa evenings or movie nights. It's great because it gives you that excuse to enforce some 'me time' and also catch up with each other without the kids. We go a little crazy with face masks, pedicures and all the works - definitely feel brand new after!

Hah! Peace and quiet in this house are as elusive as Bigfoot. Even if the kids are not physically present, there's always some drama going on that demands my attention.
