Mum & Baby Deals

I'm quite the bargain hunter myself and have been keeping an eye out for deals to prep for my little one's arrival. I haven't seen any other deals as good as that one, but there's a few things I've snatched up lately that are pretty decent finds:

My friend recommended these reusable bamboo nappy pads that are super absorbant and cheap compared to other brands. They're having a buy-two-get-one-free offer on their website, so I stocked up!
That's fantastic initiative to gather all the best Mum and Baby deals here! A great way for everyone to save some money, which is especially helpful now that we're all watching our budgets.

I've been keeping an eye out for deals on car seats. There's a few good ones floating around the usual suspects - Amazon, eBay, and even Lazada. I noticed that Baby Go-Go-Go has 20% off their line of car seats, which include some fancy high-tech models with sensors built into them! Not bad!

That's a great find! Reusable nappy pads are a fantastic eco-friendly option. I also grabbed some cloth nappies during my pregnancy, which have been a godsend and saved me quite a bit of money in the long run! Seems like you've got a good head start on preparing for the little one's arrival 🙂.

I haven't been keeping tabs on baby deals lately, but I do remember seeing some decent offers at Mothercare's recent warehouse sale. Lots of stores have end-of-season clearance sales too, which can have some great bargains if you don't mind that the clothing designs are from the previous season.

Some of the online stores also have good deals. The hassle-free experience comes at a cost, but it's worth it for the convenience if you're short on time (or energy!) - especially with the current promotions. I got some nice organic cotton sets at an affordable price from Little Koala Box.

And on that note, I'm off to check out Babies R Us! Thanks for the heads-up!
That's true; season clearance sales are great options to grab some bargains! You might get lucky and come across some unsold stock in the previous season's designs, which is still usable and cute. Little Koala Box sounds interesting; I'll have a look! They have nice eco-friendly options sometimes. Happy shopping at Babies R Us! 😀🛍️

I recently walked past a Mothercare store and noticed a big 'Clearance' sign hanging at their window. Might be worth checking out, seems like they're having a huge sale too! Most items are half price or more, if I remember correctly.
That's a great find! I love a good clearance sale - sometimes you can find some real gems if you dig around a bit! Half price is a fantastic deal, especially for the pricey Mothercare products. Thanks for sharing!

That's incredibly true. The costs of raising a child can certainly add up quickly!

It's great that you started this thread. Having a supportive community to share cost-saving tips is so helpful for new mums!

I'm pleased to share my finds for baby deals, especially since I've been keeping an eye out for any expecting moms out there! You guys are in for some luck because I've recently come across a baby fare with super deals and promotions just this weekend! It's the annual Baby Market Sale, happening at Suntec City. Think massive discounts - up to 70% off - on strollers, car seats, cots, and so many other baby essentials! It's a great opportunity to grab high-quality products at a fraction of the price, trust me, I've been there and personally benefited from the amazing deals!

Besides the massive markdowns on products, there are also free parenting workshops happening hourly. I attended one last year on sleep training, which was really insightful - the tips I picked up were gold! There are tons of freebies, sampling of the latest baby foods/formulas, and even a chance to win lucky draw prizes!

Don't miss out, mamas!
Oh wow, that sounds like a pretty elaborate event! Are these brands new or more established ones? Just curious because I generally tend to go for tried-and-tested brands recommended by mommy friends, but it's tempting with such huge discounts! Also, nice to hear about the workshops, that sounds useful for parents indeed.

Hey! I just bought some baby essentials from the NTUC Fairprice Online. They have a huge variety of items from different brands. Lots of promotions going on, with discounts of up to 50% and reasonable prices to begin with. Just thought I'd share because the deals are too good to miss!
That's indeed a great find, thank you for sharing! It's so helpful to have all these essentials easily available online and even more wonderful when they're on discount!

I recently walked past Mothercare and saw a big signage for their clearance sale. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact discounts, but it seemed like a good one because the queues were long! Worth dropping by if you're passing by though! Also, there's a smaller store called The Little Heart Beat with 2 outlets in Singapore that's worth visiting. They have cute baby clothes and accessories at affordable prices, which I found out about from a mommy friend. Not sure if there are any current promos but it's a good place to stock up on essentials. Better than buying from overpriced boutiques, in my opinion!
That mommy friend of mine also mentioned that some Baby Market events have really good deals! The one at Suntec City seems particularly popular, from what I gather. Might be fun to check it out, plus it's air-conditioned which is a bonus given our weather.

I saw some adorable looking outfits in The Little Heart Beat outlets! They have reasonably priced sets for newborns too, which makes a great gift for baby showers. I didn't know about the Mothercare clearance though, might make a trip down soon! Thanks!

That's a great find! Baby fairs always help to discover new products and save some money too. Would be helpful if anyone could share the latest info on the best times to visit such events!
There's definitely no harm in being in the know about upcoming baby expos! From my experience, these events tend to be less crowded during opening hours on the first day. You'll have a better chance exploring and getting personal recommendations from the exhibitors, before the crowds swarm in!
Besides scoring some sweet deals, you get to leave with more choices and knowledge. A win-win situation for all parents especially with little ones who are super particular about everything baby!

That's awesome to know! Baby fairs are indeed a good place to source for essential items, and it's even better when you can get them at a bargain. I recall attending one at the beginning of the year and scoring big on discounts for nursing shirts. :) It's quite an art to navigate these sales, isn't it? You gotta be quick!
Indeed, it is! I remember having to quickly compare different brands and their offers, because some of these companies tend to have really good deals only during these baby events. But sometimes there are also exclusive deals online, like the one sunny_days mentioned above. Online shopping lets you compare prices across sites and read reviews, which helps a lot in making quick decisions!

Oh wow, thanks for sharing! Baby fairs are indeed a great idea to stock up on essentials; you get so many options and discounts too! Did you happen to catch any deals on strollers or car seats at the NTUC Fairprice baby fair? Those items can be a real pinch on the wallet.
There were some pretty good deals on strollers and car seats, indeed a few hard-to-resist deals which I had to remind myself that it was not an absolute necessity for now! But if you're due soon or know someone who is, these would make a practical gift idea. Better to grab them while they're cheaper!

You're right; the Baby Market Events do seem popular amongst parents and parents-to-be! The event organizers really know how to attract expectant mothers haha. It can get pretty warm in Singapore, so an air-conditioned venue is indeed a plus point. From what you've shared, it sounds like these baby markets have some exclusive deals and are worth a visit!

Yes! The Little Heart Beat is quite a gem for budget-conscious parents, especially with their adorable and affordable selections. Newborn outfits are always good as gifts, so convenient too!
You're most welcome. Hope you'll find something nice at the Mothercare clearance! They have some good stuff so do check it out soon!
