Multiples Madness

Great ideas! My little one loves helping out with household tasks, especially when they're made into games - it's a win-win because so much gets done without feeling like a chore !

I've found some success with dividing deep cleaning tasks into manageable chunks too - like tackling one shelf of the bookshelf or cupboard at a time, and making a game out of it. 'Can you help me find all the toys that belong in this shelf? You're the toy detective!' seems to work every time!
Making cleaning up a play activity is so clever! Hiding objects and setting a timer could make it even more exciting for the little one to accomplish their "mission."

Agreed! I love the idea of making it into a game - especially with a timer! It's amazing how excited kids get when you turn a chore into a fun activity.

It's amazing how creative we can get when trying to come up with fun ways to keep everyone engaged and entertained.

Healthy competition brings out the best It's a great way to add some excitement and bonding during chores - especially with multiples running around!

That's certainly true! My kids always make it fun when they're competing against each other, but there's still that element of bonding and working together. It's a win-win situation!

There's definitely a lot more camaraderie as the siblings get older and the kids realize they're "in it together"! Competition can be healthy, especially when there's also an underlying spirit of teamwork and mutual encouragement!

True, the dynamic changes as they grow and the once fierce competitors become supportive buddies. It's wonderful to witness the shift from rivalry to companionship as they realise they're on the same team! The older one can also help to look after and entertain the younger one - bonus for parents!

It's a great feeling when the kids start playing nicely together! The dynamic really changes when they realize they're more alike than they thought and start looking out for each other. It's like having two little allies against life's adventures!
