Online communities definitely aren't the best space to share something so personal - especially given how large the audience is, and how difficult it can be to control who sees what. Keeping things private and confined to your close relationships is a great approach.

The beauty of online community forums is their diversity -- which means you can dip into various different threads for specific needs. Parenting, lifestyle and fitness are all incredibly broad topics too, so lots of ground can be covered!

Yeah, I think I'm more comfortable sharing certain things online only after ensuring it won't inadvertently reach a wider audience or affected parties. But there's certainly a lot of camaraderie and wisdom to gain from parenting forums and other lifestyle-focused discussions. It's a nice way to learn about different perspectives and experiences without having to leave the house!
