I'll share mine! I had a natural water birth at a birthing center. It was an incredible, empowering experience, and I felt so proud of what my body could do.

Wow! That sounds like a very intense yet fulfilling experience. I've heard that natural births can be really rewarding but also challenging. Would love to hear the details of your birth tale!

It was nothing short of exhilarating and scary at the same time!

I had always dreamed of having a natural water birth, so when contractions started, I was excited yet nervous. The contractions were bearable, so we headed to the hospital.

Being admitted into the labour ward was daunting. I labored in the shower for what felt like forever, and with each contraction, I'd grasp the handles above me, eyes squinted shut, moaning low. My husband kept encouraging me, timing contractions, making sure I drank fluids, and keeping the atmosphere light with gentle humor.

When I asked for the birthing pool, the midwives smiled and said it was a good idea. The warm water was soothing, and I felt a sense of calm as the contractions became more intense. I started chanting "open, open, open" with each surge, focusing on my breathing.

It was a long seven hours before I finally felt the urge to push. With no time for an epidural, I pushed through two contractions, feeling an immense burning sensation.

And then, there he was - crying, slimy, and so very wrinkly! They placed him on my chest, and the relief was immense. I had done it - naturally!

Looking back, it was a wild ride, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. That proud feeling of conquering the unknown, coupled with the awe of holding your new little person, is indescribable.

What an incredible birth story! It's truly powerful to experience labour and delivery without interventions, and it's amazing how your body and mind worked together to welcome your little one earthside. The sense of achievement must have been overwhelming!

Congratulations on your beautiful baby and well done, mama!

Thank you so much! It was the most incredible experience and I'm still buzzing from it all - my body is truly amazing!

I had such a strong surge of hormones after the birth, I felt so attached to my baby and so capable - women are incredible!! It's a feeling like no other.
