The one home upgrade I do not regret splurging on is installing central vacuum system piping throughout the house. It makes cleaning so much easier and quicker, especially with two kids who are alwaysmessing up the place. It's hidden luxury that maintains a clean and tidy home, which is very satisfying.

The best renovation trick I've ever invested in is adding an art corner! It makes the house look lived in and feels cozy and inviting too. The creative vibe it brings really makes the house feel like a home, especially with my little artsy tot running around.

The best home upgrade, in my opinion, was installing a rainwater harvesting system. It's an innovative and sustainable way to save on water costs, plus it has a great aesthetic appeal with the vertical wall feature it comes with. Harvested rainwater is filtered and recycled for non-potable use, reducing our household's carbon footprint.

Having an in-built water system also meant we could install a small herb garden indoors, which gives a very cozy and warm vibe to the house, plus it smells great! It's my favorite spot in the house.

The art corner has become a little plant nursery instead - HAHA! My kiddo took over and decided most of the artsy displays were scary so he turned it into his herb garden instead. So currently we got lots of little potted plants there, each with their own name and quirky characters that my son has created. It's quite an interesting ecosystem he's built with his imaginative tales behind each plant. Can't help but laugh every time I pass by and read the silly names and stories he's come up with!
