The couple had no idea she was pregnant (yes, another mysterious unknown pregnancy!) but apparently, the rise in altitude triggered some mild contractions. By the time they realised something was happening, it was already too late - and thus, their little bundle of joy arrived unexpectedly amidst the stunning mountain scenery.

It could have been a dire situation as help was hours away, but fortunately, the guides were experienced and had a medical kit with them. Additionally, my cousin and her husband are both doctors in real life, so they were able to deliver the baby safely with the guides' assistance.
