Frugal Family Funds

Lemon balm is a wonder - it grows like a weed too so you never need feel guilty about harvesting bunches of it! It makes a lovely, refreshing tea and I love adding a few leaves to my spa water for some extra zing. A real underdog herb that packs such a bright punch.
Wow, I have not heard of lemon balm before. You guys are introducing me to so many exciting new ingredients and flavors. That's the beauty of this frugal challenge - finding innovative ways to elevate our meals without breaking the budget. It's amazing how nature provides us with so many wonderful free 'ingredients'! (As a side note, I'm glad to hear that it's easy to grow lemon balm. I have been wanting to start an herb garden and will consider adding this to the list!)
