The Reformer is an amazing piece of equipment - it's like the pilates version of a Swiss Army knife! So many possibilities. I find that the balance challenge really helps with my general awareness and mind-body connection, which carries over into so many other aspects. What are some of your favourite exercises on the Reformer?

Yes it's a Reformer machine! Good eye 😊 I love how these machines challenge your balance and strength. Definitely a great way to switch up your workout routine.
It's a cool machine that offers a fun challenge and a good switch up from the usual gym equipment. Does anyone know if it's suitable for pregnant women? Seems like an interesting, low-impact exercise option!

I'm not sure about the WaterRower, but I've been doing low-intensity workouts on the erg at the gym throughout my pregnancy and it's been great - definitely a good, low-impact option!

My OB cleared me to exercise and said that as long as I keep the intensity moderate , it's fine. I monitor my heart rate with a wearable fitness tracker, which really helps to keep things in check.

If you're interested, there's a great app called 'PregnancyRowing' that details some good pregnancy-safe rowing workouts and also has general tips on rowing while pregnant. It's designed by a physiotherapist specialised in prenatal exercise.

Definitely check with your doctor first, but I say go for it! It's been a nice way to switch up my routine and stay active without too much impact on my joints or the baby bump!

That's awesome - so great that you've found an exercise that suits your pregnancy and that your OB has cleared it too. I'll definitely check out that app, sounds like a great resource!

I'm also planning to keep my workouts at moderate intensity - just wanting to switch things up a bit and thought low-impact might be the go. I've heard good things about the WaterRower but haven't tried one yet. Will book some time in the gym this week to give it a crack. Thanks!

It's great to hear that you're keeping up with exercise during your pregnancy and have found a workout style that suits you so well! I think you'll love the WaterRower - it's such a fantastic low-impact option that still provides an intense workout. Let me know what you think of it after you try it out! That app has been my saviour for finding new routines too. Enjoy your workouts this week, and it's awesome that you're keeping it up while pregnant - go mumma!
