Eating out or ordering takeout can add up quickly, so I prepare big batches of freezable meals on weekends or when I have some time off. That way, on busy days or nights, I just have to heat up a meal, which saves us money, time and the hassle of deciding what to eat! Also, I involve my older child in the process by letting him help with simple tasks, which makes the experience more fun and engaging.
