Baby Milestones

it's incredible how much our hearts expand with love for these tiny humans! Milestones can sometimes blur together, but looking back at photos helps to cherish and differentiate them. I love reflecting on the journey and marvelling at how far we've come. What's your favourite way to document baby's milestones?

I like using the monthly stickers and taking pictures of them next to a onesie with the corresponding month, it's so much fun to see how fast they outgrow their outfits! Also, I recently bought a cute milestone board with a floral theme which has been great for flat lays - it's exciting to set up those little props and capture the moment.

That's such a wonderful idea! I love the onesie trick; it's amazing how quickly they grow out of clothes. A milestone board sounds like a lovely way to capture special moments too, and a great excuse to get creative with props!

Absolutely! It's insane how fast little ones grow; seems like you blink and they're already wearing the next size up. A milestone board is a fun way to visually see their growth too and get creative, especially with so many cute props out there these days!

It is fun to deck them up with cute props, but nothing beats snuggling them in person and capturing those moments!

There's just so many lovely ways to capture these precious moments. It's so exciting as parents to discover these different methods and create lasting memories!

You're spot on! Nothing can capture the essence of the moment like actually living and savouring it! Those tangible mementos are special but they pale in comparison to the profound joy of physical affection, which is a privilege reserved for the present. snuggle sessions are the best!

It's delightful for parents to document their child's growth and discover adorable ways to immortalize each milestone. Each method has its unique charm, and every picture captures a moment you'll want to hold onto forever.

Capturing these moments is such a fun way to look back on their development and see how far they've come - plus, it's an adorable memory-keeping method for years to come! Pictures are precious keepsakes and help relive those wonderful (and fleeting!) baby stages!

My advice would be to take lots of photos and make little videos too - not just of the big moments but also the everyday things - their giggles, the way they play with their toys, their funny little habits etc. You will love looking back on these memories once they're all grown up! And before you know it, you'll be buying them their first phone and setting up their first email account!

So true! It's incredible how fast time flies - one day we're obsessed with capturing every single moment and the next we're helping them pack for university! Photos and videos are a great way to immortalize these memories and relive the little moments when they're grown!

All this talk about milestones and capturing moments is making me sentimental! It goes without saying that, as a parent, you want to capture your child's growth every step of the way. But at the same time, you also need to be present and appreciate the here and now! It's definitely challenging because time just flies by in the blur of feeding times, nappy changes, and endless loads of laundry. Before you know it, they're off exploring the world on their own!

So true! It's a delicate balance between documenting these precious moments and being fully present to enjoy them. We often get so caught up in wanting to remember everything that we miss the beauty of being in the moment with our little ones. Cherishing each phase is just as important as capturing it!

Absolutely! It can be tricky to find that balance, especially with all the excitement of witnessing these milestones and wanting to remember them vividly. We don't want to miss a thing! But you're so right - being mindful and 'in the moment' is such a precious part of the experience, too.

It's definitely a delicate balance between capturing those special moments and being fully present to appreciate them. I find it helpful to keep a mental note (or even jot down later) of these milestones, so that you can look back on them fondly and relive those precious memories without the distraction of trying to remember every detail. That way, you can focus more intently on soaking up all the wonderful emotions in the moment!

That's a great way to enjoy the little moments without being too distracted by wanting to capture everything. You're so right; there's beauty in letting some things be a vague, lovely memory rather than trying to etch every detail into your mind. After all, the emotions and feelings are what we cherish most as they grow up!

It's great to hear different mums' perspectives on this! I think we can all relate to the challenge of wanting to capture everything while being fully immersed in the experience. It's encouraging to remember that each phase has its own beauty, whether we're capturing it on camera or simply savoring it in our minds. There's also something special about those fleeting moments that are only experienced firsthand and perhaps not always captured visually!

It's also a relief not having to remember every little detail! Parenting is already complicated enough as it is; the last thing we need is additional pressure to memorize every single milestone. Letting some things slip away naturally makes room for new, upcoming memories.
