I'm finding it really tough to get my son (10) to eat his veggies with dinner. He's always pushing them around his plate instead of eating them, and gets upset when I try to reason with him about why they're good for him. Does anyone else have this struggle? What worked for you guys when trying to get your kids to eat healthier?

One possible approach is to involve him in the process of preparing and cooking veggies, so he can see how different techniques can make them taste better. It might be worth starting small, with some veggie options he knows he likes . You could also try making it a game, where he has to find a certain vegetable on his plate before he gets other favourite foods. Alternatively, offering him the opportunity to help decide what veggies go into meals might encourage him to be more interested in eating them himself. Have you tried any of these approaches?

We've had some success with getting him involved in cooking and prep, like mixing certain veggies into things he already likes. Still working on making it a bigger part of meals overall though.
