I wanted to start a thread where we could discuss some of our favorite toys and books - ones that we grew up with, and perhaps even pass down to our children and grandchildren, and new ones we've discovered!
I'll go first: one of my all-time favorite childhood toys was this wooden dollhouse my grandfather built for me. It had three stories and teeny, tiny furniture that I'd meticulously dust and clean up. My mom would sometimes help me set up the dining table with a full spread - it was so fun moving all the food around! As I got older, I enjoyed rearranging the rooms and redecorating. I still have it packed away safely somewhere, along with my collection of Barbie dolls and their accessories. I plan on passing them down to my kids one day.
What are some of your favorites?
