You know what's super fun? Making your own playdough! Tot can help too - just measure, mix and voilà! A good, sensory, salty experience. Plus you've got a fun activity to do together afterwards. Win-win situation if you ask me.

No need fancy stuff la! I got a simple one - scavenger hunt! You can let the kids run around and 'hunt' for common household items or toys. Can teach colors, shapes, and sizes too. Or just hide some snacks for them to find and enjoy the surprise! Very good for their sensory and motor skills also.

When weather permits, outdoor adventures are a fun way to learn! A nature scavenger hunt around the neighbourhood lets them explore and tickles their senses - sight, smell, touch, even hearing! Can teach basic photography skills too if you bring along a camera!

For an educational but fun learning experience with the little one, why not whip up a simple and yummy smoothie together? Get them to help you gather the ingredients, wash the produce, and perhaps blend the fruits with a little assistance. It's a quick and tasty way to learn about healthy eating habits and introduce them to new flavors and textures!

You could also make it a weekly thing - like a fun, educational gastronomic adventure!

If you're looking for some fun and educational activities this week, how about some messy play with ice? It's a simple activity that's super fun and engaging for the little ones, plus it encourages sensory exploration and language development!

Fill up some plastic bags with water and freeze them overnight. In the morning, give your toddler the ice bags and some tools like paint brushes, spoons or small toys to help them explore. They can paint with the ice, watch it melt and experiment with how fast it melts with different touches. You could also slowly introduce some basic science concepts about states of matter and explain how the ice changes into water as it melts!

Ice play sounds like a super cool idea! It's easy to set up and ticks the boxes for fun and learning. For something a little different, why not add some colored cells in the water before freezing? Tot can observe the pretty colors as the ice melts and goes “wahhhh”. If you’re feeling adventurous, throw some small toys or coins into the bags too for some extra excitement and listening practice! “Mommy, I see a yellow boat!” Haha.

That's a fun twist to the activity! Cells of color could really make it exciting and help with language development too, especially for those learning colors. Describing and seeing the colors as they mix and change can be a nice extension to the activity.

And that's a great idea to add some toys or coins too - it's amazing how excited kids get when they spot something familiar inside! It's like a little surprise treasure hunt, and great for developing those motor skills too as they carefully retrieve the hidden goodies.

Oh yes, it's a simple activity with lots of potential extensions! It caters to different learning styles too, whether it's visual, auditory, or even tactile sensory play.

And you're right - little ones love that element of surprise and excitement when they discover something hidden. It's like a little magic trick haha!

Outdoor is a great way to keep their young minds curious and engaged! Love the idea of a scavenger hunt. My tot enjoyed hunting for colourful leaves and counting them during our nature walks - it's like free play and learning combined!

Sensory play offers a lot of benefits especially when young kids are naturally curious and love exploring through their senses. That thrill of discovery adds so much joy and excitement to the learning experience!

I've been planning some cooking adventures for my tot this week! We're going to have so much fun in the kitchen, exploring new flavors and textures - and it's a great way to learn about different cultures too.

We'll be making some easy peasy Chinese dumplings - perfect for little hands to help with the folding and stuffing. Then we'll move on to some Western cuisine, whipping up creamy mashed potatoes and perhaps some simple pasta. It's gonna be a delicious and educational feast! 😋🍽️

I was thinking of something hands-on and outdoors, like a little nature scavenger hunt! Can let the kids run around, explore, and learn about the different plants and bugs. Could also throw in some simple challenges like finding the biggest/smallest rock, or a fun game of hide-and-seek among the trees. Basically anything to get them connecting with nature, keeps them active and occupied too. Indoors, I might do some simple science experiments using household items - always fascinates them and helps with their observation skills!

Nature scavenger hunt sounds awesome! Getting the little ones to connect with nature is a great idea because it's fun and educational. They can learn so much just by observing the natural environment.

I like your idea of simple science experiments too, keeping things hands-on and using household items is a cool way to introduce science concepts without them realizing it. Keep them occupied and learning while they're having fun!

Ya, I think it's an awesome way to spend quality time with the kids too, having fun together outdoors and being all curious and excited about nature haha. Keeping things simple and enjoying the little delights - like finding some coolly shaped leaves or pretty stones! It's amazing how much joy these little discoveries can bring.

If you're running outta ideas, here's some simple yet fun activities you can do at home! How about creating artsy projects using household objects like empty toilet rolls, egg cartons and colourful buttons? You can also plan a fun scavenger hunt in the park - give your tot a list of things to find like fallen leaves, interesting rocks or different types of trees. And if you wanna keep 'em busy for a while, teach 'em how to make their own playdough! With flour, salt and food colouring, they'll have squishy fun!

I've been thinking about setting up a little scavenger hunt for my tot around the house! Something simple like finding household items could be quite fun and also work on her observation skills. And also perhaps a little nature walk to collect leaves, flowers or rocks - anything that catches her fancy! So many possibilities to explore and let their imaginations run wild!

The weather's been so hot and humid, it's like walking into a sauna whenever we step out! But that makes it perfect for some ice play - freeze some coloured water in trays, let the toddlers have at it with some plastic tools to dig and chip away at those ice blocks. Keep them interested by throwing in some little toys or objects too! We also like making our own sensory bags - just ensure the ziplock bags are well sealed so the toddlers won't accidentally burst them! Squishy, slimy, fun without the mess!

For some indoor activities, we do simple cooking together - measuring ingredients and mixing them is fun, and of course, licking the bowl is a reward in itself! Haha. Or some simple art, using chalk pastels - the vibrant colours are so appealing, and it's easy to sweep up the mess afterwards. Toddler-friendly science experiments are awesome too, like showing off some cool volcano action with food colouring and a squirt of detergent for added wow factor. Learning about reactions and colours, and it's so simple! So many fun ways to keep them busy and learning without going out!
