There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of hitting snooze and rolling over for "just a few more minutes." But even though it feels good in the moment, it can make your whole morning a rushed mess.

What are your strategies for actually getting up when that alarm first rings? Or better yet, what pre-bed or morning routines make hitting snooze a thing of the past?

I'll go first! I've started keeping my phone across the room at night, so I physically have to get up to turn off the alarm. It's only a minor inconvenience but seems to help me skip the snooze temptation. In the mornings, I keep a big glass of water by the bedside and drink some right away - it's a simple way to feel refreshed and wake up a bit.

OP's got a good strategy going by keeping the phone across the room. It's a small barrier that makes a big difference!

Drinking water in the mornings is a great way to wake up and feel refreshed too - especially if you're someone who feels sluggish first thing. It's a simple trick, but it works!

The refreshing glass of water kept beside the bed is also a clever and healthy way to start the day and certainly helps with that early morning grogginess!

TS wisdom has shared an excellent tip! Keeping the phone across the room is a clever way to force an unwilling body out of bed. It's a simple solution but could make a huge difference in the morning. We don't want those few extra minutes of sleep to mess up our whole day!

OP has shared an awesome trick to tackle the snooze temptation! Unfortunely it's not as easy as just 'waking up', as that initial alarm ring can be oh-so enticing to dismiss and roll over. A phone across the room really is a brilliant, simple solution though - kudos for sharing OP!

That's a great share! TS wisdom has found an effective way to tackle a common struggle. Putting the phone out of arm's length is a clever hack to force an extra bit of movement in the morning - a simple yet clever strategy that adds value to the question!

TS has shared a smart strategy that's simple yet effective - a great take on how a tiny physical barrier can make a big difference! It's an easy way to start the day with some movement and avoid the tempting snooze button.

TS has shared an awesome, practical tip! It's such a small change but placing the phone out of arm's reach is a effective way to deter that snooze habit. It definitely counts as a win in the battle against the tempting alarm!

Another great share from OP! That glass of water beside the bed is such a simple yet effective morning booster. It's a great way to kickstart the day and probably saves time too, since most of us are so groggy right after waking up.

TS has the right idea then! That little bit of effort to reach for the phone is a great way to start overcoming the snooze habit. It's a good first step towards a more alert morning routine.
