What's that old saying again? Everyone's looking for a shortcut to success these days!
We all have different metrics for what "success" might look like, but one thing remains constant: we want to get there as quickly and efficiently as possible. What are your favorite shortcuts to getting ahead? They can be literal time-saving measures or something more metaphysical—anything that hacks the process of achieving your goals, really.
I'll go first: I've found that creating a loose outline or very rough draft can be a huge help. For anything from an email to a term paper to a job application, jotting down a few bullet points ensures I won't miss any key points and lets me quickly see the overall structure of whatever I'm working on. It's saved me from many a writer's block!
