In the second trimester, I'd say my most memorable moment was feeling the first distinct kicks! There's nothing like it - an indescribable, special connection formed right there. It's such an exciting milestone, especially when you've been eagerly waiting for those flutters.

And finally, in the third trimester, the highlight was definitely the nesting stage. Preparing the nursery, organizing baby clothes, and washing all the tiny footwear and outfits - it's a tangible way to prepare for your little one's arrival and feels so satisfying!

Between the brisket pain, sore shoulders from hauling my huge belly around, and sciatica down my legs, walking became a challenge. All the aches reminded me of what a marathon pregnancy was! But luckily, yoga and acupuncture sessions helped ease the discomfort.

I also had gestational diabetes, which was a fright at first, but with a strict diet and exercise, it was manageable. The experience left me with a newfound appreciation for all the body's hard work during pregnancy, as well as the importance of a healthy lifestyle. So many lessons!
