I'm currently 6 weeks along and I've started reading up on pregnancy books, looking for some general advice and reassurance about navigating the next few months.

I have a relatively healthy lifestyle but it's really new territory for me... first pregnancy, young mum (early twenties!) and partner is also very inexperienced.

Was wondering if anyone else out there has been in similar shoes or knows of any great resources/websites/articles etc. for learning more about what to expect that might be helpful?

Was wondering if anyone else out there has been in similar shoes or knows of any great resources/websites/articles etc. for learning more about what to expect that might be helpful? I'd love to know if these guys [links to two websites and a pregnancy app] are any good - from other mum's i've spoken too they all seem to swear by them!

As soon as you find out your pregnant, it seems that everything is out of your control and its hard not to start scanning for any potential probs or complications. Does anyone else feel like this?

Would love some reassurance from other mums out there who have made it to the end unscathed . Thanks

I was completely blindsided by morning sickness - I had no idea it would hit me with such force! But, yeah, a lot of people told me to stock up on ginger and whatnot... does anyone else have any morning sickness tips for managing the misery? My partner has also been doing some online research and we came across a few apps that apparently can help track symptoms etc. Has anyone used one of these that they'd recommend?

I tried a peppermint tea that a friend recommended - it seemed to help for me. Also, just eating small amounts frequently rather than trying to eat a whole meal at once helped mitigate some of the discomfort.'
