Share your insights and experiences with us! What worked, what didn't and any other tips you found helpful during the potty training process? Let's create a comprehensive guide to help parents currently in the trenches.

Consistency and patience are key! We created a ritual around it - every hour, my child and I would take a break and sit on the potty together. Having that routine really helped.

We also made it into a game and rewarded our little one with stickers each time they successfully went. That incentivized them to keep trying.

There were accidents, of course, but we never shamed or punished for those. Just lots of love and encouragement. It's such a big milestone, so celebrate every success, no matter how small!

Those are some amazing insights! Making it a fun routine and creating a positive environment with incentives is such a wonderful strategy. Celebrate those victories, It's encouraging to hear how you managed the accidents too - staying upbeat and positive is such an important aspect of this whole journey.

Yeah, definitely. We didn't realize it at first, but having a consistent routine and normalizing the whole process was a huge part of our success. Keepin' it light-hearted and fun also made it a joy rather than a chore. Incentives went a long way - stickers turned into small treats and that was such a great motivator!Accidents happen but keeping a positive mindset throughout really helps in encouraging them and keeping their confidence up.

Consistently maintaining a normal routine and creating a fun and lighthearted atmosphere definitely sounds like a successful formula! Creating some positive associations with the whole potty training process, including incentives like stickers leading to treats, is a great way to encourage and build confidence. It's awesome that you found what worked best for your little one while keeping a positive mindset throughout - it sounds like you've got some great strategies there!

It's all about finding what works best for each child. We are lucky the incentives worked so well, because it can be pretty daunting for the little ones. It's such a huge milestone for them and their confidence when they finally get it down pat!
