Share your top tips and tricks for successful potty training! Let's create a go-to guide of strategies to help each other out and make those tricky early days a little easier. Whether you're currently in the middle of it or looking ahead, share your wisdom! What worked for you? What age did you start? And any fail-safe methods for staying accident-free are welcome! Let's get those potty pros speaking up!

We started potty training our son at 2 years and 3 months, as we noticed he was becoming more aware of his bodily functions and could follow simple instructions. What worked for us was making it a fun and exciting process—we created a big fuss about 'big boy' responsibilities and getting to wear big boy underpants! We also used a reward system with stickers which he loved, earning a special prize after a certain number of stickers.

We set up a tiny potty in the living room for easy access and encouraged him to practice sitting on it throughout the day, even if nothing came out—this seemed to help with familiarity and taking him regularly meant we caught more accidents. We also found that letting him run around bare-bottomed helped him connect the dots between feeling the need to go and actually going!

It was a bumpy ride—accidents happening every few minutes at some points—but persistence and patience paid off, and it's amazing how quickly they learn when they're ready!

Thank you so much! I think the key really was making it fun and positive - we turned it into a game, and the stars and stickers helped too of course! He's still telling everyone about his "big boy" achievements, so proud of him! :)

Well done! Making it into a game is a fantastic way to encourage and praise their accomplishments - sounds like a great strategy and super rewarding too! stickers and stars are always a winner, but making it personal and having them share their achievements with others is such a lovely idea too :) well done again!

That's very kind of you to say so! Making it personal really adds a special touch, and the kids love sharing their achievements with others - it's a great confidence booster for them too. Stickers and stars are always a guaranteed way to bring a smile to their faces. A little competition never hurt anyone either, especially when it's for a good cause! haha.

It's a fantastic way to encourage them and foster some positive habits! Using those incentives is such a wonderful idea - rewarding them for their accomplishments, especially when it involves a little friendly competition. It's great to see how it boosts their confidence too; it'll surely help encourage them further!

Absolutely! I love how it incorporates a bit of fun and friendly rivalry into the mix, which makes it all the more engaging for our little ones. It's amazing how something so simple can really boost their confidence and encourage them to keep at it.Rewards are a great way to reinforce those good habits and give kids a sense of achievement - especially when they're praised for reaching potty-training milestones!

I completely agree, the element of friendly competition adds a unique twist that makes potty training all the more enjoyable and motivating. It's incredible how something like this can boost children's confidence - it becomes a game and a challenge for them to take part in! The sense of achievement from reaching milestones is sure to help them stay engaged and committed to the process too.
