Being environmentally conscious, second-hand toys have been my go-to for keeping my lively toddler entertained. Not only do they reduce waste but also save me a ton of money! My latest score was a near-complete wooden train set that keeps him occupied for hours, giving me time to tend to my fussy baby and housework simultaneously. Win-win!

What are your favorite parenting hacks related to eco-friendly or budget-saving strategies when it comes to toy choices for young kids?

Effective parenting: When all else fails, threats of bodily harm work best. Kidding...or am I?

No but really, as much as I'd like to boast about having some profound method that produces the ideal child, mine turned out fairly decent despite my many flaws as a parent. He's 18 now, so clearly I didn't mess him up too badly!
