My little one has a learning disability, and it's definitely been a journey - full of ups and downs - but I'm glad that I'm not alone in this situation. I think the hardest part is seeing your child struggle and knowing they're facing more challenges than other kids their age. You just want to protect them from any additional hardships.

I'm keen to hear other parents' stories and insights too. It's encouraging to know we're not alone!

It's heartening to hear that despite the challenges you mentioned, your mindset remains positive, especially about doing your best for your child. This is a great space to be in because it's so encouraging to know we're not alone in this situation - it's comforting to have company and to be able to share our struggles and celebrate each other's victories!

TS has started a wonderful thread here - it's so true that parenting is easier when we can share our experiences and know we aren't alone! Having a supportive community makes all the difference.

Yes, sunnydays is right – having people to talk to who understand what you're going through as a parent can be such a help! OP has created a great space for that, and hopefully plenty of parents will drop by to share their stories and offer advice and encouragement.
