There are so many milestones in our children's lives, big and small, that we would like to celebrate. This thread is an opportunity to acknowledge and relish those achievements!

What have been some of your child's milestones that you are especially proud of or that filled you with joy? They could be the 'typical' ones such as first steps or first words, or perhaps some more unique to your child - like finally mastering the art of putting on their own shoes or sleeping through the night!

I'll start. My little one recently started talking, and although she's only two, the amount she can articulate now is amazing. She's stringing three words together, and it's so fascinating hearing her express herself, especially as she's quite a shy child. It's like hearing this little person emerge from a shell and express what's on their mind - it's truly special!

My kids' milestone that I'm proud of: my son finally stopped his nighttime nursing sessions at three years old. It might seem like a simple achievement, but it was a big deal for us because it meant we could finally have some alone time with our partners without worrying about the kids' sleep! It was a huge relief and definitely worth celebrating!

My son going through the entire teenage years without getting his life ruined by babies too early, that was a relief. Also, him getting into the university of his choice, despite all the hormones and angst.
