For every good deed or act of concentration, Ryan earned a star. Collecting a certain number of stars would allow him to pick a reward from a special treat jar.

He came back a changed young man, more appreciative and willing to listen and connect with his mom. Turned out he just needed a shock to realize he wasn't the center of the universe. Sometimes tough love's the way to go!
