Being my first baby, I had planned on going to the hospital, but the midwives rushed over and helped me through it at home. It was intense and fast - definitely not how I imagined it would be, but I felt so supported by the midwives and my husband. After three pushes, my baby girl was here, and the sense of achievement was immense. A challenging but ultimately magical experience that I'll always remember.

we don't give ourselves enough credit for our strength, which is so apparent during labour. I'm glad you had a positive birth experience too.
