My second childbirth was a breeze and a beautiful, empowering experience. I'd been through a tricky pregnancy with gestational diabetes, but the natural childbirth I'd hoped for went off without a hitch. It was quick - less than four hours from start to finish - and although intense, the whole experience was serene and almost meditation-like. The serenity of the whole event was amazing; it felt like my body just knew what to do. That natural high after was incredible!
