Thread Title: Home Enhancements
We've finally moved into our new home! The location is perfect and the bones of the house are great, but it definitely needs some work. I'm super excited to tackle some projects to make this place feel like ours.
I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences with home enhancements! What have you done that made a big impact without breaking the bank? Any DIY disasters or triumphs?
I'll start us off with a couple of our planned projects:
- A fresh coat of paint throughout - we're thinking warm neutrals for a bright, airy feel.
- Updating the lighting fixtures to something more modern and energy efficient. We have our eye on some sleek black fittings that will really update the look.
- Replacing the old, worn flooring in the kitchen with a trendy wood-look tile. It's so stunning and much easier to maintain than wood!
I'd love to hear about other people's recent renovations, big or small! Any tips on where to source affordable materials are welcome too - especially for those unique touches that make a house a home.
