Share your healthy habits, nutritious recipes and general wellness tips for expecting mothers! We all want the best for our little ones even before they arrive, so let's pool our knowledge together on how to keep healthy during pregnancy. Whether it's dietary changes, exercise routines or just some great snacking ideas - spill the beans here!

I'll start: I've found that having ready-to-eat healthy snacks around has been a lifesaver for those unexpected cravings! Baby carrots and hummus, pre-cut fruits and even some prepackaged portion controlled nuts are in my current snack stash. It's helped me avoid reaching for the sugary treats when hunger strikes unexpectedly!

Great tip! I totally agree about having healthy snacks on hand. I'm a big fan of smoothies for a quick, nutritious snack. I find throwing some frozen fruit, spinach, and yoghurt into a blender an easy way to get some vitamins and calories in without too much prep work. Also, it's a good way to hide some healthier options like spinach or avocado which may not be the most palatable on their own but are so good for you!

I also loved walking - it helped clear my head, kept me energetic (especially towards the end when I didn't sleep great) and gave me some much-needed time outside.

Smoothies are a brilliant idea! It's an excellent way to nourish yourself with essential nutrients and a creative way to disguise healthier options.

Walking certainly sounds like a refreshing activity, especially giving you some time outdoors and keeping you energetic. It's a wonderful tip for clearing the mind too!

Yes including leafy greens or avocados in smoothies is a great way to get essential nutrients. Taking short walks, especially by the park or nature reserve near my home, helps to de-stress and clears my mind too. There are some nice whiffs of fresh scent from the gardens too - it's quite soothing and refreshing!

What other healthy habits do you ladies swear by? Any recommendations for foods to avoid or cuisines to indulge in during pregnancy?
