I just scored an awesome deal on a Breville food steamer and I'm really impressed with its performance - easy to assemble, decent for steam cleaning baby bottles and utensils, and has several pre-set options for clothes and other items as well (though that feature doesn't get much use in my household). It's been super quiet while running too. Any Breville or similar device users got some tips?

I've had a Breville food steamer for a few years and the one thing I would say is that it does get a bit more finicky to clean as time goes on - some of the parts tend to rust or develop limescale buildup, which can make scrubbing them out a real pain. Have you found that with your model? Is there maybe some kind of gentle soap or baking soda trick I should know about?.
